A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after an SUV hit a pedestrian Monday night at Sahara Avenue and Richfield Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
A Chevrolet Trail Blazer was headed east on Sahara shortly before 9:30 p.m. when it hit the pedestrian at the intersection, police said.
The pedestrian, a Las Vegas man in his 60s, was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries, police said.
The driver, who remained at the scene, was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center, police said. She was identified as Katrina Williams, 35, of Las Vegas.
The incident was still under investigation, police said.
