Shooting at North Las Vegas park leaves man dead, police say

A man died after an apparent shooting at a North Las Vegas park Tuesday night, according to police.

Officers received multiple calls about 8:45 p.m. to Craig Ranch Regional Park at 628 W. Craig Road, near Revere Street, where multiple shots were reported, according to North Las Vegas Police.

The 22-year-old man, who suffered an apparent gunshot wound, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The investigation done by police revealed that the victim and another subject were in a confrontation. Shots were fired shortly after, and the victim was transported to the hospital by a friend.

No suspects are in custody, police said.
