An apparent senior prank at a Henderson high school left trash, toilet paper and furniture strewn about campus, according to students and staff.

Photos shared on social media showed trees in the school courtyard covered in toilet paper, garbage on floors and furniture crowding a hallway at Basic High School, located at 400 Palo Verde Drive, near Boulder Highway and Major Avenue.

The school principal reported that some chairs were zip-tied together and taken into the hallways, but school administration did not take any disciplinary actions in that matter, Clark County School District spokesman David Roddy said.

Senior students separated the chairs and returned them to the classroom, Roddy said.

CCSD did not immediately respond to inquiries about the other reported parts of the apparent prank.

Freshman Joey Burns said at least one classroom was covered in glitter, toilet paper was thrown all along the hallways and some profanities were written on the board in a classroom.

"They just trashed the whole school," he said.

Roddy said no damage was reported, and there were no disruptions to the school day.

The school year ends June 4 for Basic, and graduation is June 5, according to the school website.
