Curtis Jones rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns today on 18 carries for the host Arbor View High football team in a 35-0 victory against Shadow Ridge in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.

Mike Sims intercepted passes for Arbor View on each of Shadow Ridge’s initial two possessions.

Deago Stubbs rushed nine times for 67 yards for Arbor View, and Dante Miller and Hayden Bollinger had rushing touchdowns.

Arbor View advances to face Desert Oasis next week in the semifinals. Earlier this season, Arbor View beat Desert Oasis by 36 points.

“But they are a better team now,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said of Desert Oasis. “Our defense scored three touchdowns. If your defense doesn’t score, it’s a 21-7 game.”
