A man was shot twice near a 7-Eleven at Lake Mead and Jones boulevards this evening, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 7:20 p.m. to the store at 2003 N. Jones Blvd., and the man was taken to University Medical Center in unknown condition, Lt. Kendall Bell said.
He was in surgery at the hospital, Bell said.
No suspects are in custody, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, he said.
