A southwest valley private school was briefly locked down this morning as Metro Police searched the area for reported prowlers, according to the school and police.
Calvary Chapel Christian School, 7175 West Oquendo Road, was locked down for about 10 minutes after police received a report just before 11 a.m. of prowlers about half a mile away, Officer Michael Rodriguez said.
Officers were called to the 7000 block of West Patrick Lane, near South Rainbow Boulevard, to investigate the call, he said.
Three people were seen jumping walls in the area, and officers chased them on foot, he said.
Two men were detained, and a third person was not yet in custody, he said.
