Fire

A trailer caught fire this afternoon at a mobile home community near Nellis Air Force Base, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Clark County Fire crews responded about 5:30 p.m. to the Carefree Manufactured Home Community, at 3325 N. Nellis Blvd., near Cheyenne Avenue, according to a news release from the fire department.

No injuries were reported, the department said.

The trailer was "fully involved with" the fire, but firefighters were able to get the flames under control in about 15 minutes of the original report, the release said.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue reported to the scene, as did the North Las Vegas Fire Department.

The origin of the fire and a damage estimate were not immediately available, and it is unclear if any residents have been displaced.
