Homicide detectives are investigating a death downtown following a report of a shooting, according to Metro Police.
Officers were called about 2 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting in the 1000 block of Jessica Ave., near Maryland Parkway and Charleston Boulevard, police said.
No further information on the death was immediately available.
