Henderson Police search for armed suspect in gas station robbery

Suspect

Police say this man robbed a gas station at 3061 St. Rose Parkway, near Spencer Street, on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015.

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man they say committed an armed robbery at a Henderson gas station Saturday.

The suspect threatened an employee with an undisclosed weapon about 9:45 p.m. after approaching the cashier at the Chevron station, at 3061 St. Rose Parkway, near Spencer Street, police said.

The man then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man wearing a green baseball cap with a yellow or gold brim.

He had a burgundy letterman’s jacket with gray sleeves and a large “R” on the left breast, and officials “believe the patch on the jacket will be recognized" by some members of the public, according to a Henderson Police news release.
