A man found stabbed to death Wednesday in the garage of his home in the 1100 block of Plantation Court has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as John O’Neil, 53, of Las Vegas.
He died of multiple sharp-force injuries, according to the Coroner’s Office.
Police were dispatched to the home about 5:50 p.m. for a welfare check after a woman reported that she was concerned for the safety of her ex-husband and son, according to Metro Police.
Officers found O’Neil’s body in the garage and arrested his 17-year-old son on a count of murder, police said.
His name has not been released because of his age, officials said.
The teen was unresponsive when officers found him, but they later determined he was uninjured, police said.
