Two suspects are in custody in connection with a robbery earlier this month near a Henderson park and an alleged attack at a Henderson home, according to Henderson Police.

Also according to police:

Rudy Herrera, 23, and 25-year-old Sarahi Solis were booked into the Henderson Detention Center late Friday evening on charges of conspiracy, robbery and burglary. Herrera also was charged with attempted murder.

Around 2:30 a.m. Nov. 7, Herrera and Solis robbed a man at gunpoint near a park at the corner of Whitney Ranch Drive and Galleria Drive.

The victim was injured when he was struck on the top of his head with a gun after Herrera and Solis took his wallet and the keys to his residence.

Around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 15, Herrera and Solis used the keys to enter the victim's residence in the 600 block of Whitney Ranch Drive, where he lived with two roommates.

Herrera fired two shots at the victim's male roommate, who had left his room to investigate the noise.

Both shots missed the roommate, and a fight ensued after the roommate charged Herrera to keep him from shooting again.

The roommate sustained injuries to his head and face as Herrera hit him multiple times with the gun.

Herrera and Solis then fled.

Police discovered the pair on surveillance video at different locations using the robbery victim's credit and debit cards.
