Clark County firefighters extinguished two small fires this morning, including one that set off sprinklers in a building where offices were under construction.
Las Vegas firefighters, meanwhile, put out a blaze that investigators determined was electrical in nature.
At 12:59 a.m., firefighters were called to 6180 Brent Thurman Way in the southwest valley, where sprinklers had been activated. They searched the building and discovered a small fire, which they extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and a damage estimate has not been released.

At 1:41 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a residence at 3688 Madrid, near Twain Avenue and Sandhill Road in the east valley. Firefighters found a fire burning in a backyard fire pit, which they extinguished.

At 7:21 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from the roof vents of a single-story house at 2308 Juana Vista St., near Sahara Avenue and Arville Street, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
Firefighters put out the blaze, which may have been caused by faulty wiring, within a few minutes, officials said. The fire caused about $20,000 damage and displaced five adults and four children.

No injuries were reported in any of the fires.
