Metro Police are asking for the public's help to identify a robbery suspect they say shot at a convenience store clerk Saturday in the southwest valley.
The man entered the store near West Flamingo Road and the 215 Beltway with a handgun and pointed it at the employee, demanding cigarettes and money, police said.
Also according to police:
The man became upset during the robbery and shot one round in the direction of the employee, who was not injured.
The suspect is believed to be a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5 feet, 10 inches.
His attire included a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt and white shirt.
