Officers responding to reports of a domestic dispute engaged in a nearly six-hour standoff early today after a number of people refused to come out of an apartment, according to Henderson Police.
Nobody was injured, officials said, but it was not clear if anyone was arrested.
Officers were dispatched about 1 a.m. to the Camden Commons Apartments near Sunset Road and Green Valley Parkway. Police say several people refused to come out of the apartment but did not release an exact number.
Six neighboring apartments were evacuated.
SWAT and crisis negotiation teams were on scene until the situation came to a peaceful end at 6:45 a.m., police said.
