Firefighters respond to two incidents at same building within 13 hours

Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters responded to a fire in a vacant, two-story apartment building twice in 13 hours this weekend, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

Also according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue:

Crews first responded to a fire in the building, at 2320 Tam Drive near Sahara Avenue and Interstate 15, at 9:10 p.m. Saturday.

The second call came at 10:40 a.m. Sunday.

Both of the incidents involved a small fire that started on the first floor and were quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported.

The building is boarded up and has no utilities, but it appears to be occupied by squatters.
