A 16-year-old girl hit by a pickup truck a week ago near West Craig Road and North Pioneer Way died Thursday, according to Metro Police.

The girl, identified as Mary Elizabeth Lilly of Las Vegas, died of blunt-force trauma, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office. Her death was ruled accidental, officials said.

Lilly was crossing Craig Road at Pioneer Way about 6:05 p.m. Nov. 23 when she was hit by a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck, police said. She was taken to University Medical Center, where she died, police said.

The driver of the truck, a 70-year-old Las Vegas man, was not injured, police said.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Lilly’s family created a Go Fund Me page to raise money for the teen's medical and funeral expenses. According to the website, she was a junior at Centennial High School.
