Metro Police are asking for the public's help to identify two persons of interest in the armed robbery and beating of a victim in the east valley last week.
Police were called about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday to a reported robbery in the area of Eastern Avenue and Walnut Street, near Bonanza Road, according to a Metro news release.
A person was held at gunpoint and forced by two suspects to remove cash from an ATM.
The suspects then shot at and beat the victim before fleeing into a nearby neighborhood, police said.
The two persons of interest in the case are 19- to 23-year-old Hispanic men with short, dark hair, according to the release.
One of the men had a light blue, short-sleeved shirt, and the other was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.
