Officers are investigating after a body was found in the desert near Jean this afternoon, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 12:50 p.m. to the area along Interstate 15 about three miles south of Jean, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
No further information on the body or the circumstances surrounding the person's death were immediately available.
Police and the Clark County Coroner's Office are on scene.
The person's identity, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Coroner's Office.
