CARSON CITY — Gov. Brian Sandoval announced two appointments to top state positions today.
The governor selected former Deputy Chief of Staff Ann Wilkinson to head the Nevada Transportation Authority that regulates the ride-sharing and taxi industries and other transportation modes in Northern Nevada.
Wilkinson, deputy director of the state Department of Administration, succeeds Andy McKay, who resigned.
Sandoval selected Terri Albertson as interim director of the Department of Motor Vehicles, succeeding Troy Dillard, who retired.
Albertson is administrator for Management Services and Programs at the DMV. She has worked for the state for 30 years, 10 of them with the DMV.
