Shooting
One person is in critical condition following a shooting in a North Las Vegas residential neighborhood this afternoon, according to police.
North Las Vegas Police were called about 5 p.m. to the 3300 block of Bridge House Street, near Allen Lane and Cheyenne Avenue, Officer Aaron Patty said.
A female of unknown age was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound and transported to University Medical Center, he said.
No suspect is in custody, and a description of the suspect was not immediately available, he said.
No major street closures are in effect.
