letters to the editor:

Anger-management training for children could curb shootings

An open letter to Sen. Dean Heller in regard to the Umpqua Community College shooting in Oregon:

Our Congress needs to mandate that beginning in fourth grade, students must take a weekly class in anger management. Again in eighth grade, students need a class in anger management.

The reason we have so many mass shootings is that our parents are very busy and often do not have time to teach their child or children anger management.

Schools have not dealt with anger management, but that needs to be changed immediately.

America is in a crisis with lone-wolf shooters taking the lives of many people.
