A Henderson man was pronounced dead Tuesday after the car he was driving went out of control and collided with two oncoming vehicles on Tropicana Avenue, between Paradise Road and Koval Lane, according to Metro Police.
The 58-year-old man was not identified, pending notification of his family.
He was driving a 2011 Lincoln Town Car east on Tropicana about 7 a.m. when he lost control and slid sideways across the median and into the westbound lanes, police said.
The car collided with a pickup truck and a van, police said. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries; the van driver was not injured, police said.
The driver of the Town Car was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
