Christian Marshall rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries today for the Faith Lutheran High football team in a 38-14 victory against visiting Spring Valley in the regular season finale.
After losing its opener, Faith Lutheran has won eight straight, including all seven leagues games to win a third straight Division I-A Sunset championship.
“One of the things you notice about him when you see him play is his vision,” Faith Lutheran coach Vernon Fox said about Marshall. “He sees the open field before he gets to it.”
Brenden Joyce passed for 139 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Josh Hong and Alec Netski for scores.
Faith Lutheran hosts Sunrise Mountain next week to start the playoffs.
