A man fatally stabbed Wednesday in a west valley shopping center parking lot has been identified as 33-year-old Kristopher Lee Schneider, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Schneider, whose city of residence was not available, died of a stab wound to the chest at University Medical Center, according to the Coroner’s Office and Metro Police.
The stabbing was reported about 5:50 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Fort Apache Road, near West Flamingo Road.
Metro officers and bystanders tried to help Schneider, who was then taken to a hospital, police said.
Investigators believe he and another man argued before the stabbing, police said.
The other man left with an unknown woman in a white, two-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Celica, police said. The car had white trim and tinted windows, police said.
The suspect is believed to be a thin black man in his 20s; he was last seen wearing a white tank top and dark pants, police said.
The woman was described as white with dark hair in a ponytail. She is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and was wearing a white shirt and jeans, police said.
