A 50-year-old Las Vegas man was shot in the head and died at a northwest valley house, possibly during a burglary, according to Metro Police and the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Todd Tipton was found dead about 6:20 p.m. Monday by a family member at the house in the 3800 block of White Castle Street, near West Alexander Road and North El Capitan Way, authorities said.

Tipton was home alone, and investigators believe his death may have been the result of a burglary, police said.

Detectives are looking for four people who were in the neighborhood earlier Monday and were described as persons of interest, police said.

This is the 80th homicide this year investigated by Metro Police.
