Former beauty queen Katherine Rees was arrested Tuesday in Las Vegas on five new drug-related counts including felony possession of methamphetamine, according to an arrest report.

Rees, who was charged in July with four felony drug-related counts after allegedly possessing and selling methamphetamine last year, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday after police arrested her and her DJ boyfriend, Kevin "DJ Kulprit" Sims, the report said.

She was previously released on $10,000 bond and under intensive supervision in the other case, according to a Las Vegas Justice Court spokeswoman.

The 31-year-old former Miss Nevada USA, who was stripped of her title in 2006 after risqué pictures of her emerged online, was in a rental car with Sims about 4:45 p.m. when police made a traffic stop, alleging the car was speeding and failed to signal, according to the report.

Officers pulled the car over at a 7-Eleven near Las Vegas Boulevard South and East Pebble Road, and while speaking with Sims, who was driving, an officer smelled marijuana and asked Sims if there were pot or weapons in the car, the report said.

When he hesitated, police placed both Sims and Rees in handcuffs, the report said.

Sims, who had three outstanding traffic warrants, was arrested, and when police searched him, they found a jar with a liquid believed to be GHB, a club drug also known as "liquid ecstasy," the report said.

Officers noted that he was sweating and had dilated eyes, the report said.

Rees told police she and Sims have been dating for 10 months, and when they searched a bag she claimed was hers, officers found items including rolling papers, two smoking pipes and a canister containing what police believed to be marijuana, the report said.

They also found Xanax and Oxycontin as well as a substance that tested positive for meth, the report said.

Police say Rees admitted to smoking meth earlier in the day, and she initially denied there were drugs in her bags but later confessed the canister in her purse contained marijuana, the report said.

Rees is being held on $9,000 bail, records show.

Her attorney, Warren J. Geller, declined to comment on the case.

In Sims' bags, police found substances that tested positive for cocaine and meth, the report said.

They also found glass narcotics pipes, a scale, baggies and a box containing unknown pills and capsules.

In the car, which was rented in Sims' name, police found a substance that tested positive for marijuana, the report said.

According to the report, Sims told police, "I just want to tell you one thing … if you find anything in that car that's illegal, it's not hers."

A search at the jail also recovered a small baggie that tested positive for meth in Sims' sock, police said.

Sims was arrested on multiple counts including felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony trafficking GHB and felony cocaine possession.
