RENO — Authorities say a man is in critical condition after he was shot by police as they were trying to serve a warrant at an apartment building in Reno.
Reno Police Lt. Robert Larson said the man didn't obey commands to surrender as authorities were attempting to serve him a warrant Wednesday morning.
Larson said a Sparks police officer working with U.S. Marshals opened fire because the officer felt that the man's movements were threatening.
No officer was injured.
Officials are investigating.
