A 44-year-old man has been arrested in a shooting that apparently stemmed from a domestic dispute near the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in the southwest valley this morning, according to Metro Police.

Donnell Reid will be booked at the Clark County jail on one count of attempted murder, police said.

The shooting was reported about 7:40 a.m. in the 100 block of Crooked Putter Drive in a residential neighborhood south of Fort Apache and Warm Springs roads, police said.

The man who was shot was taken to University Medical Center with what appeared to be nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
