Foothill High running back Justice Jackson had four touchdowns for the second straight game, leading the Falcons today to a 47-7 victory against host Durango in a nonleague game.

Backup tailback Blake Wilson also had a rushing touchdown for Foothill, who improved to 2-1 overall. Sean Hamilton added an interception return for a touchdown and Brandon Hargis scored on a receiving touchdown.

Foothill plays Shadow Ridge, who suffered a 52-14 loss tonight at Arbor View, next week.

“We have to keep getting better,” Foothill coach Marty Redmond said. “We did some things well, but there are some things we can do better.”

Arbor View (3-1) was leading visiting Shadow Ridge 31-7 at halftime after Dante Miller returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and Hayden Bollinger passed for three touchdowns. Curtis Jones, Morris Jackson and Phenix Calinao had touchdown runs for the Aggies, who have won three straight games.

Arbor View usually does its damage on the ground, but their junior quarterback's passing ability has given the offense options. Bollinger completed 9 of 11 passes for 137 yards, including three completions for 44 yards and two touchdowns to Diego Stubbs. Bishop Jones added a 16-yard touchdown reception.

“This is a different team than we have had in years past,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said. “Hayden can throw the ball a bit and we have some kids who catch it a little.”

Dominick Wilson had a pair of long touchdowns for Shadow Ridge, including an 80-yard rushing score in the first half.
