CARSON CITY — Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske says her treatment for breast cancer won’t impede her from performing her duties.
She said she had surgery two weeks ago and was back at work the following day.
She started twice-daily radiation treatment in Las Vegas today, but that ends Friday. A small tumor was discovered on her breast, she said.
After the radiation treatment, she said she will return to work full time.
