Suspects, vehicle sought in fatal August shooting at downtown apartment

Metro Police are looking for two suspects in connection with a fatal August shooting at a downtown apartment and have released video of a possible suspect vehicle.

Officers were called about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 17 to an apartment in the 600 block of South 11th Street, near Bonneville Avenue, where 31-year-old Las Vegas man Hipolito Reyes-Perez was pronounced dead of multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

The possible suspect vehicle was spotted near the apartment about 11:50 p.m. Aug. 16, which is when Metro believes the murder occurred, police said.

The vehicle is described as a dark, newer-model SUV with chrome rims, and it may be maroon, police said.

Police described the suspects as Hispanic men with average builds who are about 30 years old and 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-8 inches tall.
