Henderson police seek suspect in armed robbery at M Resort

A man robbed the cashier cage at the M Resort early Friday morning, and investigators are searching for the suspect, according to Henderson Police.

No one was injured in the robbery, which happened about 6 a.m. at the casino, located at 12300 Las Vegas Boulevard South, police said in a news release.

The man approached the cashier cage with a weapon and threatened an employee before the cashier gave the man cash.

The amount of money was not released by police.

The suspect fled the scene through the casino’s south doors, and his vehicle is described as a purple or blue 1995 to 1999 Ford Mustang, police said.

Police described the suspect as a white man, between 5-feet-10 and 6-feet-2 inches tall and weighing about 175 to 200 pounds.

He was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves and dark clothes, police said.
