CARSON CITY — The state Employment Security Division finished updating its commuter system a day ahead of schedule.
The division shut down its computer and telephone lines for a week and said it would reopen Monday, but the system was up and running Sunday.
While the system was down, the jobless could not file their weekly claims or phone in for information.
Mae Worthy, spokeswoman for the division, said everything started working Sunday and there were no glitches. She said the telephone lines were busy Monday, but there were no backups.
