Four Ben & Jerry’s stores in the Las Vegas Valley will offer free ice cream Tuesday.

From noon until 8 p.m., the stores at Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, the Miracle Mile Shops on the Strip and the District at Green Valley Ranch and Sunset Station in Henderson will offer visitors a one-scoop cone or cup for free.

Several stores will also be collecting donations for local charities on the chain’s annual Free Cone Day.

People can donate to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada at the Miracle Mile Shops store and to the CASA Foundation, which supports children in Clark County’s foster care system, at the Henderson stores.

The District store will also feature face painters and balloon artists from 4 to 8 p.m. and celebrity scoopers, including Frankie Scinta and performers from Luxor’s Fantasy and Westgate’s Sexxy revues.

“There’s no strings attached; it’s free ice cream” said Ruth Furman, a spokeswoman for the Henderson stores. “People can donate if they want to, but we want everyone to have a good time.”
