A judge in Las Vegas wants a New York woman in court in person to enter her plea to a reduced misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge for allegedly having sex with a man on the High Roller observation wheel.
Justice of the Peace Conrad Hafen postponed a plea on Tuesday for 21-year-old Chloe Scordianos of Hicksville, N.Y.
Defense lawyer Chris Rasmussen appeared on Scordianos' behalf. He says he'll seek a May court date.
Felony sex-in-public charges were filed after police say Scordianos and 27-year-old Phillip Frank Panzica (pan-ZEE'-kuh) of Houston were seen having sex Feb. 5 in a glass-enclosed cabin on the Ferris-style wheel above the Las Vegas Strip.
Panzica was killed early March 19 outside a strip club where his fiancée worked in his hometown.
