Bodies found in hot spring in Northern Nevada

RENO — Sheriff's deputies in Nevada say two bodies were found in a hot spring in Northern Nevada.

Humboldt County Sheriff's Capt. Kevin Malone told the Reno Gazette-Journal that the bodies were found at Bog Hot Springs on Sunday. Bog Hot Springs is north of Winnemucca, near the Oregon border.

Malone says the two people were last seen the evening before they were found. He says a friend discovered their bodies after searching the area for them.

Deputies are still investigating the cause of death but don't suspect foul play. Malone says detectives are looking into whether the temperature of the hot spring may have been a factor in the deaths.
