Cheyenne High School in North Las Vegas was briefly locked down this morning after three people in a stolen vehicle bailed out and ran toward the building, Clark County School District Police Capt. Ken Young said.
North Las Vegas Police were following the vehicle about 7:30 a.m. when the occupants got out and ran, Young said. The school, 3200 W. Alexander Road, was locked down for about 5 minutes, he said.
All three people were taken into custody, and the school has resumed normal activities, Young said.
