A man found shot in a vehicle early this morning in the central valley was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to Metro Police.
He was discovered about 12:20 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Arville Street and taken to University Medical Center, where he was later declared dead, police said. The victim was shot at least once by somebody who might have been inside the vehicle, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release his name.
The motive is under investigation, and no suspects have been identified, police said.
The shooting resulted in the 61st homicide in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
