Thunderstorms brought rain across the Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday evening, and more showers may be on the way Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain and a high of 70 degrees, meteorologist Barry Pierce said. There’s also a slight chance of a thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Winds may pick up during the thunderstorms but generally won’t be too strong, ranging from about 5-10 mph, he said.
Temperatures are expected to warm up by the weekend, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
