A man's body was dumped on an east valley road this morning after he was shot at another location, according to Metro Police.
The man, who has not been identified, was shot once and discovered about 6:25 a.m. in the 4100 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Charleston Boulevard and Sandhill Avenue, police said. Investigators are looking for a gray pickup truck.
This was Metro's 64th homicide investigation this year, compared with 31 during the same period last year.
