At least 1 suspect sought in shooting at Silver Nugget that kills 2

Two men were shot and killed this morning in a parking lot at the Silver Nugget Casino, according to North Las Vegas Police.

Officers responded about 4 a.m. to the casino, 2140 Las Vegas Blvd. North, to reports of shots being fired, Officer Aaron Patty said. Upon arrival, they found two men lying in the parking lot, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead on the scene by medical personnel.

There was at least one shooter who may have known the people killed, Patty said. The relationship between the shooter and the victims is still under investigation. No one is in custody, he said.
