Flavor Flav prepares chicken during the grand opening of Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor in Las Vegas on Thursday, March 15, 2012.

Flavor Flav, the rap performer and Las Vegas celebrity, has partnered with a Strip locale to be the primary purveyor of his signature fried chicken.

Fans will be able to mingle with the star of the reality TV series “The Flavor of Love” as he celebrates the new menu item Wednesday at Rockhouse Las Vegas inside the Grand Canal Shoppes.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will sign autographs and serve Flavor Flav's Chicken at the restaurant-bar from noon to 4 p.m. in the shops shared by the Palazzo and Venetian, the eatery said in a release.

Flav’s recipe has made the rounds in the Las Vegas Valley, but it will now be served exclusively at Rockhouse, the release said.

The chicken will run $14 for 10 pieces and $25 for 24.

Flav, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton, is the son of a restaurateur and attended culinary school in the 1970s before gaining fame as a member of the rap group Public Enemy in the '80s. He now lives in the Las Vegas Valley.

He went into the Las Vegas take-out business in 2012 with the opening of House of Flavor on Maryland Parkway, but it closed about six months later.

An earlier restaurant venture by Flav failed after only four months when a chicken restaurant he opened in Iowa closed amid a management dispute.
