Boulder Highway has reopened, more than eight hours after an early-morning shooting that left a suspect dead.
The road had been closed from U.S. 95 to Lamb Boulevard since before 1 a.m. following a shooting involving a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper, who was “struck but uninjured,” Metro Police Lt. Charles Jenkins said. This morning's rush-hour traffic was routed from the road onto U.S. 95.
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada announced the road had reopened at 9:27 a.m.
