A bicyclist was killed this morning after being hit by a service truck at Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road, according to Metro Police.
The 32-year-old Henderson woman, who was on a mountain bike, died at the scene, police said.
The crash was reported about 7:40 a.m., police said.
The woman was riding her bike through a crosswalk when a 2009 Peterbilt service truck, which was turning right on Eastern, struck and ran over her, police said.
The 52-year-old driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, police said.
Roads in the area were closed several hours.
