A boarded-up house caught fire early this morning near South Rainbow Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded about 4:40 a.m. to a report of a fire on the roof and found light smoke coming from the house at 8950 Inspiration Drive, officials said.
After forcing their way into the house, firefighters found a small fire in the middle of the house and quickly put it out, officials said.
Nobody was injured and damage to the structure was minimal, officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
