Henderson man critical after home-invasion shooting; police seek suspects

A man was critically wounded this morning in a home invasion, and Henderson Police are seeking information about two people connected to the case.

According to police:

About 7:15 a.m., a man and a woman entered a home in the 200 block of West Atlantic Avenue, about half a mile east from the Henderson Convention Center.

While inside the house, they shot a 32-year-old man, striking him several times. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition.

Three children in the house were not harmed.

The man and the woman, who fled the scene, were described as being in their late 20s or early 30s. The woman had black hair and wore all black clothes. The man was described as having short and shaved blonde hair.

Police do not believe the shooting was random.
