A man shot dead inside a vehicle late Friday night became Metro Police's 18th homicide investigation.
The gunman, who was inside the vehicle when shots rang out, fled the scene, according to police.
Also according to police:
Officers discovered the body about 11:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Cindysue, near Rancho Drive, north of Vegas Drive.
A witness described the shooter as a black man between the ages of 18 and 20 who wore a red hooded pullover and tan shorts and had braided hair.
