A suspect in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in North Las Vegas last month has been captured in Michigan.
North Las Vegas Police said Friday that 35-year-old Tyrus Kemp was found in the Detroit area and awaits extradition to Nevada.
Investigators say Kemp is accused in a Jan. 28 shooting that left one man dead.
Officers found the reported victim Jan. 28 with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Kemp faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon.
