When I read the letter “Don’t vote for Republicans” (Las Vegas Sun, Dec. 29), all I could think was: Wow! The letter writer is angry; I can relate to that, but his anger is aimed at the wrong people. The past seven years are not the result of the GOP but the Obama administration. Among the writer’s list of people hurt were veterans and the elderly. I am both and have seen this administration cut the pay and services to our military members and Social Security and Medicare recipients.
We are all Americans and need to band together for the good of our children and grandchildren. Bashing either party is not the intelligent answer. We need to study the background and successful experience of each candidate, not what they say in speeches. We can see what believing speeches has done for us the past couple of terms, can’t we?
