Letter to the editor:

Pass laws to help seniors in homes

Today I’m sad and cold.

Two thermal knit tops just walked out of my apartment. Both were brand new, still in their package.

As a natural-born citizen of America, I deeply resent workers helping themselves to my possessions.

After losing several hundred dollars to workers stealing money from my purse and now my thermal knit tops, I appeal to our legislators to pass a law that mandates workers at a senior facility to be fingerprinted and have FBI clearance.

I do not stand alone regarding money and possessions removed from seniors at this senior facility.

If I lived on the outside, criminal charges could be filed.

We are a nation of laws unless you live at a senior facility.
